Norfolk has built skills and expertise over more than 40 years of North Sea gas production with many businesses diversifying to the offshore wind industry and other renewable energies.

As well as the specialist background, Norfolk is also ideally located for the wind farmers. Its geography offers long hours of sunshine and a substantial coastline for tidal power. Already, it has a pioneering role in the bio-fuels business.
